Kanye West returns to the Breakfast Club to discuss, The Yeezy Boost, Grammys, Kim Kardashian posing nude, Amber Rose, Damon Dash & more. Kanye West stated he is the most influential man in footwear right now. Do you agree? Kanye also states he almost did an album with Drake called “Wolves.” Would you want to hear a collab album from Kanye & Drake?
During his performance last night at United Center for the Chicago leg of the Yeezus Tour, Kanye dedicated the time he would usually use for a diatribe to a Michael Jordan with a sort of spoken word freestyle saluting the GOAT. It’s being called, “We Should’ve Never Ever Let MJ Play For The Wizards”.
Always one to cause a stir, South Park have gone all out with their season finale by continuing the plot of the infamous Kanye West episode “Fishsticks” of Season 13. Graced to us are the highlights which show West’s return from the ocean and his mission to convince the town that his fiancé Kim Kardashian, is in fact, not a hobbit. It being a season finale it only seemed right to also include a parody of Kanye’s “Bound 2″ video as well as a scene of the rapper interrupting Pope Francis’s award acceptance for TIME’s Person of the Year. Concluding the parody we enjoy a little story-time with Kanye who reads to Wendy about the tale of God, the Hobbit and the jelly monster. Enjoy the comedic clip above and be sure to stay tuned for an inevitable rant from Kanye. Continue reading
The Grammy nominations are out, and it come as no big surprise that a particularly polarizing Kanye West found himself nominated only twice, and wholly omitted in the “Album of the Year” category for the critically lauded Yeezus. Never one to hold his tongue, Yeezy let some thoughts loose at a show in Phoenix two days ago. Far from the angry “rant” that his musings are usually labeled, Kanye put forward some pretty compelling ideas as to why he wasn’t nominated, even breaking into auto-tune at various times during the conversation with the crowd. The Grammy’s have never been known for their warm reception of rap music, but it’s hard to say Kanye doesn’t have a point when he insinuates other things:
“When I say Yeezus, I mean Yeez-Is-Us. And anytime I’m fighting, I’m fighting for us…I’m 36-years-old and I have 21 Grammys. That’s the most Grammys of any 36-year-old. Out of all of those 21 Grammys, I’ve never won a Grammy against a white artist. And Yeezus is the top one or two album on every single list. But only gets two nominations from the Grammys. What are they trying to say? Do they think that I wouldn’t notice?…when I say people are afraid of the truth, that’s one example right there in front of you. And people come to me and congratulate me on those two nominations. F*CK THOSE NOMINATIONS!”
During yesterday’s episode of MTV’s RapFix Live, Sway sat down to address Kanye’s “You Ain’t Got The Answers” rant from last week on SiriusXM radio show Sway In The Morning. Continue reading
